The Measure of Success |

Having completed your Website Promotion campaign,
it is important to assess the results, and fine tune each
page to gain the highest possible visitor conversion. Often website promotion success is measured only by the rankings
achieved; however this is only one part of successful
promotion project. As discussed in our

than just achieving high website ranking and we use four key
measurements that show the effectiveness of your Website Promotion campaign.

The first objective is the one
most companies focus on. It reports on the website ranking achieved
for each keyword and is a measurement of how well the
search engine optimisation has worked. Using this
analysis, we can review the successful pages, and those not
yet ranking high enough and tweak the content to get the
best possible ranking for each page of your website.
Measuring click-throughs from
Search Engine Results Pages (SERP's) identifies how many
times a web page is found in a search and a visitor then 'clicks
through' to open that page. This measurement helps validate
the chosen keywords' suitability and which page summaries
are more effective than others, allowing informed action to
be taken to further increase the website traffic.
This measurement looks
at how many visitors progress beyond the first page they
opened from the SERP's to look at the rest of your website.
This helps access the relevancy of the page to their search
and the effectiveness of the entry page in stimulating
further interest.
The final measurement is to look
at the visitor conversion rate. Working closely with your
organisation we can assess how effective the website is in
converting visitors to prospects or customers. Using the
results from the SERP Click-through and Entry Page
Click-through analysis reports, we can track the number of
visitors you have. Then, based on the desired outcome of the
website, making contact or buying some product, we can work
with you to analyse the conversion rate and highlight areas
in the website that are performing well, and those areas
that need their performance improved. |
